Exciting news from our recent participation in the “Resilient Islands: Zero Waste and Circular Caribbean” webinar series, organized by UNEP, OECS, and funded by the European Union.
The webinar highlighted collaborative efforts and innovative solutions for replicable waste management practices across the Caribbean. This is a great opportunity for our projects in Curaçao and Bonaire, and we’re eager to collaborate on sustainability and circular economy initiatives in the region for our local plastic recycling mission.
The event, part of the “Waste Management Synergies: Bridging Public and Private Sectors for Sustainable Solutions”, engaged over 70 participants, including industry leaders and experts. Key discussions emphasized the pivotal role of collaboration between public and private sectors in effective waste management solutions, along with the need for creative funding mechanisms and partnerships. The webinar showcased successful collaborations, promoting peer learning and knowledge exchange for a cleaner and more sustainable Caribbean future.
Exciting times ahead for a cleaner Caribbean! Let’s keep the momentum going.
