It’s official! With the kick-off in Miami we are proud to present you our latest FUSE Kitchen project on the island of Dominica.
Together with the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC) and GPBO we will set up a waste-to-product value chain for plastic waste on this Caribbean island. The project will transform collected plastic waste into locally produced competitive goods and materials, such as boards, outdoor furniture, climate adaptive tiles, waste bins, or planters, and as such reduce litter while creating economic value.
This project is supported by the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund through the Advancing Circular Economy (ACE) Facility, funded by KfW Development Bank on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
